BitFont is a website showcasing a collection of bitmap typefaces discovered throughout New York City. Utilizing an interactive New York City map and the gallery viewing mode, the site offers an immersive way for users to explore each pieces.

Background


During my Junior year at SVA, I started a personal project for Professor Anthony Zukofsky's Interaction Design class.

Fascinated by the unique aesthetic of bitmap typefaces, I set out to document every instance I encountered within New York City. This led to the BitFont website to showcase my findings.
